Captain’s Blog: Bar Date 02042009

Happy Hump Day everyone! This week my journeys take me to the Big Apple, yup, I’ll be attending the New York Comic Con again! Last year I had an excellent time… artwork, booze, babes, booze, pizzas… good times! I was contemplating taking my sock monkey Spicy McHaggis along but the way that guy rolls I don’t really wanna spend my time shaking nervously next to some guy called Beefstick at the NYPD’s drunk tank. He’ll be staying at HQ, in charge of the ship. Anywho, I’ll be making time for commission work for anyon who will be hitting the con as well. Also will have prints, books and Amano brand rums for sale. Okay the rums will be Captain Morgan brand and they won’t be for sale, just for personal use ^_^

I got a pretty hefty list of commissions for the Valentine’s Day special I have going on so I’m cutting it off. That’s it! You snoozed u loosed! I’m thinking of more contest ideas for you guys. Stay tuned for more details to come soon!!! dun dun dun!

I think that’s about it, gotta keep it short this week. Oh and before I go, I would like to dedicate this Hump Day to The Baroness… which might possible be the only reason I go watch the new G.I. Joe movie… ummmerrr… oops, I forgot Scarlet is in it, she looks good too! ^_^’

I didn’t quite make it to the full official Hump Day post. This is more of an after humpage if you will. And of course what they say is true its better to have humped and lost than not to have humped before… didn’t think I’d get all poetic on your ass huh? Well its prolly cuz its almost 2am and the Space Madness is setting in.

Well its pretty damn cold here in the Pacific Northwest. I’ve been strung out on delicious lattes! I’m seriously considering hiring my own barista (barista = sexy lingerie clad coffee making babes, for those of you just tuning in)! But I can’t… my sockmonkey Spicy McHaggis is a very bad monkey who can’t keep his hands/tail to himself! Remember those delicious rum flavored chocolates I got from Carla Gugino this Christmas:

I digress.

Also an update on my Valentine’s Day Commission Special I posted on my last blog entry… I decided to set the cut off day to Feburary 14th or until my list is filled. Ye ole list is getting pretty full so if you are thinking about getting one… do eet… cuz I’ll have to close it off before I pass out from all the drawing!!

Hey how was everyone’s Christmas/New Years celebration?

Wow, is this the first Hump Day of 2009??!

I’m really looking forward to what this year has to bring. Lately, I’ve had a tough time getting motivated, my mind is cluttered slobbenly mess . Now that the holidays are over, its time to organize and focus!

I’m psyched cuz next month is the New York City Comic Con!!! You have to come out and check that shit out its a cornucopia of nerdom! I’ll be taking commissions and drinking and i’ll have prints for sale and drinking… well u get the idea. I’ll prolly have my nose buried in my drawing board so swing on by!

Lesse what else. Oh right, artwork! I’m working on my puter coloring. This is the finished colors for the piece I did for Marissa… who is btw, the newly crowned Cheesecake Queen in Java’s Bachelor Pad!
